One of our service writers just bought this Dart Limited 2.0 6AT. Her interior is nicer than mine, I have a far more desireable engine/tranny combo. Now the parts guys are looking into Darts as well.

Perhaps you should combine some of your parts with hers...

Nooo....but everyone did say to swap my steelies for her wheels since she would never notice.

And so the office oppo arms race has begun.

If a bunch of people have them you could swap some parts to make an odd combination that you can't get from the factory.

Mine will be eventually. I'm getting SXT wheels for it and eventually changing the body color grille surround to a satin silverņ a la Mk5 R32. I definitely wouldn't mind the sunroof of hers though and the heated seats and steering wheel would be great but I don't like leather seats. Hers also has the turn signals in the side view mirrors which I really like.

As fellow oppos, we have a duty to ensure victory for ODB. Crowdsourced go-fast parts for the win!

her wheels are awful.

I can't wait for the Fiat-badge Dart to be released in Brazil. It's far better looking than their current equivalents, and rumor has it they'll ressurect the Tipo/Tempra nameplates for the hatch and sedan.
I'll be able to fool people into thinking I have a brand new car!

I got the 2.0 Rallye last weekend. Love it

They looks better in painted aluminum rather than polished. I prefer the SXT 10 spokes to these anyway.

I'm looking forward to seeing the hatch. I would have still went sedan over hatch anyway, but I'm intrigued nonetheless.
Is the sedan just going to be the Viaggio?
Edit: a quick GIS turned up the Fiat Ottimo, a poorly named Dart hatch.

Ask and ye shall receive:
The Viaggio will be both Hatch and Sedan, with the hatch supposedly being called Tipo and the sedan Tempra in Brazil because Viaggio is already being used by a coaching company for one of their buses. Also, the pronounce is too close to viado, which means faggot.

You learn something new every day. Like how Lacrosse means masturbation in Canada, so they got a Buick Allure instead.
Now I'm thinking a Tipo with the 1.75L Alfa four. Mmm.

Nice! Any pics?

I'd love to pitch my Tipo with the modded 2.0 Lancia Twin against one of those. 185 HP last time I measured :]
Also, if they do release the new hatch as a Tipo, people will be thinking I own a brand new car left and right. Should be good for some fun, haha...

Fiat still has that kind of recognition there?
It's sort of ironic, because the exact opposite is true for my car. People always say, "a Dart? Didn't they used to make those in the 60s?" And then the surprise when I say it's not a V8 or V6 but a turbocharged four displacing only...gasp...83.5ci!

Very nice! Blue Streak is a gorgeous color and I love those wheels. I'm getting the non-Hyper Black ones for my car on eBay.

Very nice. Mine has the touch screen and all that. Still taking time to get used to all of it
![]() 01/31/2014 at 19:11 |

Yeah, they could have included more redundant buttons but the 8.4 inch screen really is awesome otherwise. You'll love the car.

No complaints so far. My first new car.... Still yet to figure out the bluetooth
![]() 01/31/2014 at 19:18 |

Mine synced up very easily. I think it depends on the phone too, some customers have issues with it, others don't. Hell, our general manager bought a Caravan R/T and they forgot to plug in a wire to the back of the radio for the Bluetooth at the factory.

Yeah I have a Galaxy Note 2 so you should be fine.

I say this with the utmost respect for what Dodge has done...
This is the Dodge Civic. It is a great car! Although the engine choices are a bit of a miss I think. A 2.0 or 2.4L with the same HP, the turbo is only on the smallest engine.

The Chrysler engines are decent but uninspiring and the Fiat 1.4 has character but is a bit laggy and could use more power considering the weight of the car. I love my car but I don't think I'd be happy in hers. It's perfect for her though.

Opinion between the 2 and 2.4?
I have considered the 2.4 and then trying to immediately let her breathe better and see if a 200HP+ engine is easy with light mods. I assume it is, in which case Dodge is stupid for not doing it from the factory.

The 2.4 is worth it over the 2.0 and everything but the Aero and SE carries the 2.4 for 2014. I prefer my 1.4 to either, though Chrysler seems to be sort of phasing it out and Mopar has more support for the 2.4.
